Amanda had a heart of gold. I had the pleasure of having her as a wonderful friend. I also grew very attached to her 2 boys. I used to babysit her two boys and drive her to work at times. I remember how long it took her to go anywhere. She never had a bad hair day or no makeup on. Amanda was a kind, caring, and generous person who I will miss very much. My deepest sympathies to Shawn, Shyloh, Mailee, and the rest of her family.

We thank you for your encouragement and support during this very difficult time, suddenly losing our daughter, sister, mother, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend way too soon has been a heart-wrenching time in our lives. If you would like to attend the service, we respectfully ask you contact her family. Due to the loss and stress for the children, we are limiting the attendance to family and friends that were in contact with the family. Please reach out to the immediate family if you would like to attend.

What we will miss most about Mandy is her inner and outer beauty, her bright smile, her dimples, her big brown eyes, her laugh, and her inner strength. We will miss her sense of humor and practical jokes. She had a passion for Victoria Secret, PINK, and makeup! She was probably Ulta's biggest customer :) always looking forward to trying the newest makeup fashion. She may not have had much to give, but she gave all she had to those she loved. She had a passion for life, always hoped for a better tomorrow, and overcame adversity on so many occasions, pushing through for herself and her children. She loved her job at Captel, and often called me while taking the bus to and from work during the subzero weather. As her mother, my concern was always whether or not she was warm enough. Parents are always parents, and I will miss my daughter every day for the rest of my life. Her children will miss her snuggling with them, just hanging out together watching TV, the way she smelled.

Amanda was proud of the fact that even though I had her as a young mother, I was still was able to work hard and become a success in a variety of ways. Amanda was proud of her sister, and she would always talk about the great things Ashley was doing and say "Isn't that crazy?" Amanda was a success herself, a beautiful mother and loved her appliance sales position. She was to start a fabulous new job this week, and was looking forward to vacationing in Florida with her children and me this year.
Proverbs 16:9 - In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

My hope is in the Lord, that we will meet again in heaven, that you, my brown-eyed girl, are now at peace as an angel.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Psalm 33:20-22
20 We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield.
21 In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.

My large hearted granddaughter stole my heart when I first laid eyes on her. She was always an apple in my eye . This sad lost has left a huge hole that will remain .
