Obituary for William B. Kummer
Bill’s Story
His journey began on January 5th, 1938 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He was the son of John and Francis Kummer. He was the brother of John (Freda) and Walter (Joan) Kummer.
He married his best friend, Jan on October 21st, 1967. He was Brother-in-law to Lon (Jackie) and Larry (Lynn) Olsen.
Family
Bill had two devoted daughters Lisa Kvool (Karl) and Lori Russo (Vince). He had six Grandchildren: Kayleigh, Kendall, and Kyle Kvool and Jack, Cole, and Brooke Russo who loved him wholeheartedly.
Bill worked for Ring & DuChateau for many years. He had an impeccable work ethic and love for Mechanical Engineering. His skills as an engineer were also evident in his ability to “fix” and “create” many things in his home and with his grandchildren.
World Traveler
Bill loved his travels to various countries and places. This includes eight cruises with The Mediterranean being his favorite. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida.
He loved
Being outside, his yard and pool, dancing and dining out with Jan,and most importantly spending time with his family.
Bill was an adoring husband, dedicated dad, fun-loving grandfather, and kind and loyal man to many others.
Bill peacefully passed away in Jan’s loving arms on March 26th, 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations to Kisses From Keegan and Friends (a pediatric cancer foundation that has helped someone dear to our hearts).
This organization grants wishes and joyful experiences for local kids fighting cancer.
