Obituary for Wayne M. Prohaska

Age 69, is now walking on the streets of gold with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 13, 2019. Loving husband of Kathleen for 48 years. Beloved dad of Lori (Cory) Spankowski and Lindy (Mark) Lecher. Proud grandfather of Rodolfo and Tenlei. Dear brother of the late Gary (Debbie) Prohaska. Further survived by cherished family members and friends. We remember a life lived well and celebrate the life of our friend. Wayne was a faithful minister and founding elder of Eagles’ Nest Christian Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Wayne and Kathy and their daughters Lori and Lindy loved to travel and they loved people. Wayne had a special love for the land of Israel and he has led tours there and ministered there in the holy land cities of Tel Aviv, Nazareth, Galilee, and his favorite city of Jerusalem. A quiet man, but very strong, and an excellent listener, and greatly anointed minister. Wayne leaves many friends better for having known him. He will be missed by all his loved ones, even in Israel friends respected his life testimony. Wayne was a father figure to many at his local church, and he and Kathy fed hundreds of people at their home in Greenfield over the years. In heaven Wayne is received with great reward awaiting him for feeding the poor and housing the ministers along with his beloved wife Kathy of 48 years and his family. Wayne also loved sports and would always enjoy the Brewers and Packers. His Stitch N Time Embroidery Company that he founded with his wife Kathy produced many sports jerseys and uniforms, so we all have seen his creative work on television sports games! Wayne also worked for Roundy's for 26 years and he was a proud member of the Teamsters Union Local 200. Please remember his family in your prayers and fulfill Wayne’s life mission by calling on the Name of the Lord Jesus to be your Savior as he did many years ago. Visitation Wednesday, August 21st, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Eagles’ Nest Christian Church, 14485 W. Hampton Rd, Brookfield. Memorial service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church.
