Obituary for Rudy J. Gawlitta
Rudy J. Gawlitta, 75, of Muskego passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022.
Beloved husband of 51 years to Linda (nee Hart). Loving father to Carrie and Sarah (Julian) Goins and proud grandpa to Ian and Eli Goins. Dear brother of Ron (Judy), Bob (Sandy), Roger (Clara “Kelly”), Roy (Beverly) and Ramon, and brother-in-law to Ken Hart (Audrey) and Cindy Pirkey ( the late Robert). He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives, and many, many friends.
Rudy was preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Betty Gawlitta and his dear sister Rosemarie Braatz.
Rudy was an avid sportsman. He loved hunting and fishing and spending as much time as he could at his cabin Up North. He was proud to be recognized for his 45 years of teaching Hunter Safety, primarily in Muskego and proudly displayed the recognition plaques and awards he received from the Wisconsin DNR alongside his other hunting trophies.
Visitation will be held Friday Aug. 5, 2022 from 4pm. to 7pm. followed by a service at 7pm. held at Hartson Funeral Home 11111 W. Janesville rd. Hales Corners WI. 53130. Burial will take place Monday August 8, 2022. at Union Cemetery 80805 N. Limits Rd., Butternut, WI 54514.
