Roy went home to Heaven on December 31, 2020. He is survived by his wife of
62 years, Carol, a son John Effenheim (Debbie), daughters Susan Arends
(Bill) and Karen Effenheim Junek, grandchildren Kara Heider, Kaley
Heider, Sara Haggith (Brian), Anthony Arends (Bethany), and Samantha
Golemblewski(Scott). 6 great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents as well as brothers Roy,
Edward, and Gerald and sisters Olive, Dorothy, and Mickey.

Roy was a Korean War veteran, a member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church
for over 50 years, and was employed for 26 years at Briggs and
Stratton. Roy enjoyed his home in New Berlin, his photography hobby,
and his workshop in the basement. He also enjoyed the many travels in
the United States during his retirement.

Roy was a loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great
grandfather, and uncle and will be greatly missed.

Private services were held.
