Obituary for Rosann Ruth Erdmann (Kloza)

Rosann Ruth Erdmann (nee Kloza) born to eternal life April 15, 2022 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Ed, dearest mom of Holly and step mom to Mike and Dawn, proud and loving grandma of Zachary and Anna Rose, and cherished sister of Jackie, the late John, Joy, the late Jude, and Tom. Further survived by many other loving relatives and friends.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Rosann enjoyed sharing her cooking and baking skills, which were mastered at Milwaukee’s Jaeger Bakery. Family favorites included homemade applesauce, apple kuchen, pecan and pumpkin pies, and her famous Easter treats. Granddog Mojo very happily served as Rosann’s treasured kitchen and all-around sidekick.

Rosann could always be counted on to be in the crowd or audience of her grandchildren’s many activities, including baseball games, dance recitals and fine arts programs. Her kind and selfless heart and loving spirit made a notable difference to the St. Ben’s Community Meal Program. A member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Faith Community in Hales Corners, Rosann expanded her volunteer efforts to Chicagoland’s Feed My Starving Children and used her artistic talents at St. John the Baptist’s Vacation Bible School in Winfield.

Proficient in the family pig Latin and home organization, Rosann enjoyed reminiscing about trips to Cuba, Nassau and Florida, but most of all she looked forward to Spring Training excursions and the simple beauty of Door County. Rosann was a big sports enthusiast, always rooting for the Pack, the Brewers, and the Bucks, in addition to the North Central College Cardinals, her grandchildren’s alma mater. An important note:she was locally renowned at successfully filling out March Madness brackets under the name Badger Backer.

We so deeply miss her, but know this is not goodbye, just “see you later, alligator.” Wage lagove yagou fagoragevager agand aga dagay.
