Obituary for Ronald Treuer

Ronald "Ron" Treuer passed away on July 31, 2022. Born in Milwaukee, WI.

Graduated from the University of Stout in 1970. He retired in 2005 from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. After retirement he became an instructor for the University of Platteville. He was proud to have served the university because of his vast knowledge of concrete and asphalt. He received the highest award in 2013, the quality management program award from the highway construction industry.

He was an avid hunter of whitetail deer with many Wisconsin trophies. He had a passion to do the best but always related his knowledge and experience to others.

He is survived by Diane M. Treuer, and always remembers her saying "I Love You" daily. She was Ron's partner for life. He is also survived by a son, Michael A. Treuer. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Sylvia Treuer, and two sons, Thomas A. Treuer, and James T. Treuer. Also survived by loving relatives and friends.

It was his wish that no formal services be held. In lieu of flowers and other memorials, please send contributions to the Waukesha Food Pantry.
