Obituary for Rebecca L. "Becki" Knapp

Rebecca “Becki” L. Knapp, of Waterford, formerly of South Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022, due to multiple health conditions. She was born on December 1, 1976, to Fred and Judy Knapp, and was raised in Oak Creek, WI. At an early age, Becki was diagnosed with asthma, and she battled other related health conditions the rest of her life.

After graduating from Oak Creek High School in 1995, Becki went on to earn an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Milwaukee Area Technical College. Until her health conditions made it impossible, she greatly enjoyed working as a Respiratory Therapist at Ascension All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI.

Becki was very creative, and she especially enjoyed crafting with family as well as creating cards and scrapbooks with the Stampin’ Divas. Attending the yearly scrapbooking retreat brought Becki much joy.

She was also devoted to her family and was extremely caring mother to her son and aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She always cared for those around her and demonstrated her love by sacrificing her time and resources when she saw a need.

Becki’s Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She loved the Lord and relied on her faith through her many physical limitations and illnesses. Through it all, she never lost her smile or her spark of joy, and she credited that to her relationship with her Lord and Savior.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Gibson, and her paternal grandparents Fred and Geraldine Knapp.

She is survived by her loving son, Kameron Knapp-Harris, her devoted parents, Fred and Judy Knapp, her siblings Scott (Jackie) Knapp and Loribeth (Alan) Isola. She is also survived by her 9 nieces and nephews: Tyler Knapp, Aubrey Isola, Braedyn Isola, Brandon Knapp, Brianna Knapp, Bennet Knapp, Jaron Knapp, and Ruby & Millie Isola. She is further survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Faith Bible Church, 4175 S 112th Street, Greenfield, WI 53228. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00PM with a service to follow at 7:00PM.
