Obituary for Peter James Muenkel
Peter was called by his loving heavenly Father to his eternal home on July 13. 2022.
He was born on March 29, 1954 to Ralph and Alice (Konetchy) Muenkel in Milwaukee WI.
After graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1972 he went on to further his education at UW Platteville from which he matriculated with a degree in Agronomy. His career followed that path for a number of years in agricultural sales. Before his retirement, he was employed by JPMorgan Chase in the financial services industry. Peter dedicated the later years of his life as caretaker for his father, mother and brother Eric before their passing.
He never wavered in his faith of the saving grace of his Lord.
He is survived by his sister Lynette Houting (Thomas), nephews Tom (Sarah) Houting and their son Evan, Matthew ( Margaret) Houting and their daughters Annie and Walker, nieces Carey, Jeanette, Bethany, nephew Barry, sister-in-law Nancy and numerous grands and cousins. Peter is preceded in death by his parents, brother Phillip and brother Eric.
A memorial service is being determined.
