On April 13th, 2020, Olga Iris Obando (formerly Ayala) was called to be with our heavenly father. Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico on February 23rd, 1960, she was the Daughter of Angelica Caballero and William Ayala. A beloved sister to Lilian Ayala, Rafael Gonzalez, and Marisol Gonzalez. She was married to Alvaro Obando bringing into this world Gwendolyn Obando, Beverly Obando and Julissa Obando. Blessed grandmother of Analiyah Burgos- Obando. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

As a nurturing mother, servant of God, and proud employee of Morgandale Elementary school for almost 30 years, she exemplified being a loving, caring, extraordinary woman who provided a safe haven to her students as well as many others. She loved to travel, dance, sing, shop, and make so many memories with family and friends. She devoted her life to being a woman of God who loved her daughters and granddaughter over all things.
