Obituary for Mildred M. "Millie" Czarnecki (Richter)
Mildred May "Millie" Czarnecki (nee Richter), age 94, of West Bend, WI, passed away on November 20, 2019. She was born to parents Kurt Richter and Nellie Beisher, on May 6, 1925 in Milwaukee, WI.
Millie worked as an Administrative Assistant, wife, mother and devoted friend.
She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, working in her garden and also working alongside her husband in the apple orchard they ran. She was a longtime active member of Advent Church.
Millie met Thomas H. (Sr.) in 1952. They were married on Dec. 26, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI. Together they raised 7 children: Tom Jr., Richard, Cathy (nee Czarnecki) Peterson, Scott, Mark, Amy and Paul.
Mildred "Millie" is survived by Sister Arlene (nee Richter) Pietsch, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren along with many other cherished family and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas H. Sr. and sister, Dorothy (nee Richter) Meilenner.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday Dec. 7, 2019 at Advent Lutheran Church, W63 N642 Washington Ave, Cedarburg, WI 53012. Family visitation from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, service to follow at 2:30 pm. Cake and coffee will be served in the church basement following the service. Reverend Jerry Groth will officiate the ceremony.
