Obituary for Max Michael Hassforth

Max Michael Hassforth, 20, of Muskego, WI, died unexpectedly Sunday May 16, 2021 due to a tragic accident while fishing. He was born January 8, 2001. Max was the only son of Danielle L Hassforth (Stillman) and Michael J Hassforth.

Max is survived by his mother Dani, Stepfather Brian Polfer; his Father Mike, Stepmother Andrea Cliff; Sisters Alex and Abbi Hassforth, all of Muskego; Maternal Grandparents Hank and Nancy Stillman of Waukesha; Paternal Grandfather Richard Hassforth and Paternal Grandmother Sandra Hassforth, both of Janesville; Uncle Jon Stillman and Aunt Jennifer Stillman of New Berlin; Cousins Elizabeth, Julia and Cal Stillman of New Berlin; Stepbrother Zachary Polfer of Oak Creek, Stepsister Samantha White (Polfer) of Clermont, FL; other family and friends.

Max graduated from Muskego High School in 2019. He was a member of many sports teams throughout his life and especially loved the game of baseball. Max loved his family and he loved sports. He was a passionate fan of the Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Brewers. Max also loved to fish, golf; and spend time with family and friends. Max recently met Lily Krapf and they spent a lot of time together during their new relationship.

Max worked for Coello & Associates as a wall setter since 2019. He was an extremely hard worker and was respected by his coworkers.

He will be forever in our hearts. We love you Max.

Max was preceded in death by his Maternal Great Grandmother Keryl Cooling of Waukesha; Paternal Great Grandmother Lorraine (Bumba) Opitz; Paternal Great Grandfather George (Yaya) Opitz of Gurnee, IL; Great Aunt Debbie Nemeth (Opitz) of Gurnee, IL, and Uncle Mark Hassforth of Janesville, WI.

Visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 22 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm with funeral services at 4:00 pm.
