Mary Louise Negrete was called home to our Lord the Afternoon of Wednesday, March 30th at her home in Greenfield Wisconsin at the age of seventy-four. Mary had been battling cancer for fifteen years and was able to find Peace in home hospice care provided by her family.
Mary is preceded in Death by her husband, Hector Negrete, daughter Deanna Negrete, parents Helen and Henry Schuh, sisters Phyllis (Susie) Schmidt, Carol Zinthifer, Katherine Boettcher, brothers John Reddin, Tony Hazelton, and granddaughter Haley Fetzer. May we find comfort and solace knowing she is in heaven with her beautiful family.
Mary is survived by her loving children Robert and Jenny Fetzer, William Fetzer, Brian Fetzer and Kelli Jo, Charles Knoebel, Michelle Cook, Steven and Migel Negrete-Sendejo, and Stephanie Negrete (Ignacio). Mary is also survived by her siblings; Phillip and Karen Reddin, Rick Hazleton and Patty Reedy, Deb Hazelton, and Roberta Winchell.
Mary is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Alexia, Gabby, Breanna, Charles Jr., Kayla, Brady, and Mason, great granddaughter Sophia, and many other countless family and friends.
Mary was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on the 25th of October 1947. She grew up on the farm until she was 18 years old and finished high school. From there she moved on and created a large family, touching people’s lives and making life-long friends. Life brings great happiness, and sometimes great pain. Mary embraced all of life’s challenges, always unwavering in her strong love and Faith for our Lord. Mary took immense pleasure in sharing the Word of God with others and loved nurturing everyone as if they were her own family. Mary had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She truly had a heart of gold, and her memory will live on forever in stories and jokes left behind.
The reception will be at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W Janesville Road, Hales Corners, WI 53130. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. followed by prayer and service at 6 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held following the services.
