Obituary for Marilyn J. Beck Olson
After a heroic fight against Covid19, Marilyn Beck Olson went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2021 at the age of 77. She was surrounded by loved ones as she passed from this life into the presence of the Lord.
She is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Mary Beck, husband Grant Olson, ex-husband Charles Connett and son Jeffrey Connett.
Loving mother of Jason (Annette) Connett, proud grandmother of Brandon and Anna Connett.
Loving sister of Rosann Kamin, Janet Compton, Carol (Dennis) Kegley.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving friends and relatives.
Marilyn loved life and was a joy to be around no matter how old or young you were, she loved children, loved to dance and boy did she have rhythm, loved spur of the moment adventures, loved being with family and friends, she was a generous, hospitable woman and she loved to laugh.
She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed and never forgotten!
Special thanks to staff at Serenity Villa Assisted living in Jackson, WI who took such good care of Marilyn, she had her healthiest years living there, thank you, thank you, thank you! She loved you all.
Marilyn, you will live on in our hearts! Rest in peace - until we meet again!
Visitation Sunday, March 21 from 1pm to 3pm, with service at 3:00, at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners with dinner to follow at Open Flame Restaurant in Hales Corners, burial will be in Augusta, WI where Marilyn lived most of her life.
