Obituary for Marianne S. Verhein (Huston)

Marianne S. (Huston) Verhein, 67, died peacefully on December 15, 2020 after complications from COVID-19. She died at home surrounded by family.
She was born to Byron and Marian (Lamb) Huston on August 18, 1953, Peoria, Illinois. She graduated from the Academy of Our Lady, 1971, and St Francis School of Nursing, obtaining her RN degree. She worked in Labor and Delivery at OSF and other units. In later years she worked in a nursing home in Wisconsin. She participated in Cursillio, Peoria, in the early '70's.
Marianne was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Joy, her brother Byron Huston and his wife Marsha, and her brother-in-law Tony Bushell. Survivors include her husband Scott, son Christopher, mother-in-law Mona Verhein, sister Sandra Bushell, and brother Alan (Joan) Huston. She cherished her granddaughter Kennedy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marianne had a kind heart, a loving soul and was a prayer warrior. She loved Jesus and angels. She will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace in the arms of our Father.
Funeral service is being held at 10 AM, on 12/22, at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Muskego, Wisconsin with Pastor Jeffery
Borack officiating. Internment will immediately follow at 11 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Greenfield, Wisconsin. A Celebration of Life is to be planned for later this year.
