Marganne ‘Marge’ Elizabeth Lammar (age 85) of West Allis, WI, went peacefully home to be with Jesus her Savior on Thursday November 24, 2022. She was born May 4th, 1937, to Betty Awe and Andrew Szymanski, and was raised primarily in Greenwood, WI. After graduating high school Marge moved to Milwaukee, WI where she met and married Harry Donald Lammar in 1957.

Before Marge became a mother and homemaker, she worked at Allen Bradley, and would later go on to hold a variety of different hospitality positions, where she made many wonderful, lifelong friends.

Marge was very crafty, and always took great pride in creating handmade items for her loved ones. She enjoyed sewing, mending for others, crocheting, as well as creating handmade cards (out of wallpaper samples) with a personal heart-felt verse for birthdays and holidays
.
Marge also took great joy in cooking for those she loved. She could often be found cooking a pot of homemade soup, making her famous hot beef, her delicious potato salad, or walking into Sunday breakfast at church with a homemade dessert.

In the summertime, Marge’s passion was her expansive flower garden. She took such pride in growing all different types of flowers and loved sharing photos of them with friends and family. Marge was an avid viewer of many game shows. 6:00pm was “Jeopardy” without fail.

Marge was very devoted to her family and friends, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known by everyone as ‘Grandma Marge’ and could always be counted on to give a big hug and a heartwarming smile.

She is preceded in death by her mother Betty Awe, father Andrew Szymanksi, brother Gene Kolbo, husband Harry, and son Scott.

Marge is survived and loved by her brother Jesse (Katrina) Kolbo, daughter-in-law Cora Lammar, children William, Karen (Scott) Peliska, Donald, and Julie (Dale) Ciesielczyk. Marge’s memory will also live on through her countless friends who will remember Marge for her friendship, big smile and love of laughter.
