Obituary for Keith P. Allen
Keith P. Allen passed away peacefully on December 15th at the age of 69, with his life partner of 21 years and sons nearby. Keith was born on May 5th, 1953 in Norway, MI to Hugh and Elaine Allen, and was raised in Green Bay, WI. Keith was preceded in death by his loving mother Elaine and brother Scott Allen. He is survived by his best friend and companion Shelly Schmidt, father Hugh Allen, brother Mike Allen (Judy), sister Lynne Gryboski (Steve), and sons Kristopher (Alexandria) and Matthew (Jennifer) Allen. He is also survived by Eric (Jodi), David (Kelle), and Nickolas (Jessica) Schmidt.
Keith leaves behind nephews Eric Allen (Kristin) and Vincent Gryboski, and nieces Lisa Watson (Ryan) and Cora Curtis (Eric). One of Keith's favorite treasures in life was the time he spent with his grandchildren and leaves 12 of them behind. Kashton (15), Mason (13), Kynleigh (10), Madaline (10), Kyleigh (10), Savannah (9), Owen (7), Chase (7), Lilliana (5), Addyson (5), Paizleigh (5), Mackenzie (5) and one on the way.
Keith was an amazing man, companion, friend, brother, father, and grandfather who could light up any room he walked into. He was always someone to lean on, someone you could talk to, someone to get advice from, and was always there if you needed a hug.
Keith loved watching sports, sitting by a fire, golfing, playing cribbage, and spending time with friends. Of all of the things he loved, there was nothing he loved more than being a grandparent, and he devoted the later years of his life to being present for all 12 of them. Whether it be a birthday, sporting event, or just a Saturday afternoon, Keith put his family first, and his family loved him for it and will always cherish the memories he helped create. Keith will be deeply missed by all, but never forgotten as his memory lives on through all of those he impacted throughout his great life.
