Obituary

Franklin - Age 77. At peace January 9, 2021. Loving husband of Margaret for 55 years. Beloved father of Jill Palmisano and Joseph (Mary) Palmisano. Proud Papa of Amanda (Eric) Zakszewski and Louis "Goggles" Palmisano. Dear brother of Nina (John) Clark, Nancy Palmisano (Dan Gregory) and the late Frank Palmisano. Further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Joe was a caring man who always put family and friends first. He cherished the 55 years of marriage with the love of his life, Marge, who he often referred to as "the boss!" His children Jill and Joey, and his grandchildren Amanda and Louis were the light of his life.

Over his 60 years in the produce industry he left a mark on all who knew him. He was honest, self giving, and had a heart of gold. He was known for his generosity which was a guiding principle for his life. Joe enjoyed being around people. One of his favorite past times was sharing stories about the "good old days." Anyone who encountered him would remember him for his kindness and a smile that would light up the room. There are no words to describe how the loss of this great man impacted all who knew him. We will always carry fond memories of him in our hearts.

Private family services were held.

If desired, in lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital appreciated.
