Obituary for John " Jack" M. "Washboard Jack" Clark
John "Jack" Martin Clark, our father passed away on Sunday September 11, 2022. Loving husband of Jacqulyne (Young), father of Jeff, Joe (Ingrid) and Jere, grandfather of Amanda, Amber, Erica and Jeanne. Great grandfather of Xavier and Summer Brother of Tom and Howard. Son of Benjamin and Ruth. Further survived by nieces and nephews Miles, Kenny, Mark, Jodi, Tommy, and Jami. He also loved his little companion Kyla.
Dad served in the Korean War Army 47th Division Band. He loved his wife, our mom, we found that he had even left notes right up to a few days before he passed away that said in big letters "Jack and Jackie". He loved us boys and always expressed this with words that made us feel proud to be his sons. He thoroughly enjoyed listening to old time jazz music and listening to the Ron Cuzner jazz show as his favorite. He played drums and trumpet earlier in his life and then played the washboard with bands including the Dixie Doodlers and Paul Gronemeier Trio. He enjoyed being the town photographer and going out to capture photo shots all around his community. He always liked meeting new people in town but mostly loved being around his home taking care of his immediate surroundings being with Mom and us three boys. We were the luckiest kids on the block to have Dad as our father. Thanks Dad.
