Obituary for Joel Alexander Michael Lieske
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joel Alexander Michael Lieske, beloved son, brother, partner and friend. Joel was born on October 15, 1984. His life unexpectedly ended on this earth and he was taken to meet the Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2022.
Joel was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and moved with his family to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in 1988, where he adapted to his new home and neighborhood with joyful enthusiasm. Joel took pride in his work as an automotive mechanic at Firestone and was beloved and respected by his colleagues.
A sensitive and creative soul, Joel was always putting others before himself. He would drop everything for anyone who needed him. He was known and loved for his gentle and thoughtful manner, his kind and compassionate spirit and his contagious sense of humor.
He had a passion for life and did everything full speed. He was an avid music lover and a gifted guitar player. Joel had endless curiosity and was naturally talented at whatever he focused his attention on.
He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a loving family, including his parents, Willie and Earl; his brother and sister, Josh and Chloe; and his partner, Renee DeCleene and her son, Ethan.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Wisconsin Memorial Park from 11:30am–1:00pm. Funeral Service 1:00pm. Private family interment. A reception will follow the service, all are invited.
