Obituary for Jean M. Jackland (Mueller)
Jean Marilyn Jackland, 86, peacefully passed away in her sleep on September 11, 2022.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Robert Jackland and daughter-in-law, Tanisha Jackland. She was sister to Russ Mueller. She leaves behind nephew Bill Katt, and many nieces and nephews, as well as relatives and friends. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jackland, Gail Drews, Shirley Katt, and Karen Katt.
Jean was born on October 14,1935 and was a phenomenal woman who had a fair and compassionate heart. She was a fervent feeder of birds, with the cardinal being one of her favorite birds to watch. Not only was Jean a patron of the arts, but she was also a classically trained pianist who played in the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Jean taught piano to many people while raising her son Robert Jackland. Resilient and passionate, Jean was married to Thomas Jackland for over 45 loving years.
Her interests included, gardening, nature, animals, listening to classical music, playing the piano, reading, cooking, and sharing special moments with loved ones.
Jean loved to entertain friends and family. She brought fun and laughter to us all. Her kindness and generosity never went unnoticed. May her soul finally rest in peace. She will forever be deeply missed and cherished for all days.
