Obituary for Jacquelyn J. Lichey (Greves)

Age 75, went home to Heaven on January 3rd. Beloved wife of George for 51 years. Cherished mother of Andrew (Sarah) and Jeff (Monika). Loving grandmother of Hailey, Jacob, Ella, William, Benjamin and Luke.

Jackie was a one of a kind woman. She had such grace and compassion that radiated from her. She was an awesome listener and friend. She was thoughtful, hardworking, generous in spirit and faithful. She was organized and multi-talented. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who loved every moment spent with those she loved. When you were with Jackie you were her focus and attention. She was the hands and feet of God. She leaves an indelible mark on those who knew her and we all are better for knowing her.

Jackie took pride in her work as an administrative assistant to the Dean of Engineering and Chancellor. She was an outstanding multi-talented colleague who created a welcoming efficient office. Jackie loved her 21 years of service to UWM and valued the relationships and people she worked with over the years. She always went above and beyond to make sure the office ran efficiently, smoothly but was also welcoming. Her boss always says she was the best and such a master at the calendar. He always appreciated all she did for all of us and trusted her with everything!

She continued to be a part of UWM after retirement by taking advantage of their lifelong learning classes where she began her hobby in photography. Jackie loved to travel and take pictures. She loved it when the family all went to Disney together. We all have so many memories to cherish.

Jackie was one of those people you trusted and could count on. She was quiet and wise. A true class act. We're so sad for all our loss. May God grant us all strength and courage as we face this life without her by our side.

A visitation will be held on Saturday January 11th at Hales Corners Lutheran Church,12300 W Janesville Rd Hales Corners, 53130, from 9am to 11am followed by a funeral service at 11am.
