Obituary for Jacob James "Jack" Kuchta

Jacob "Jack" Kuchta of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, age 79, passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January, 9, 2023. Jack was born and raised in Pound, Wisconsin and came to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Arleen, and by his children Tami (Tim) Samorajski, Ann (Dan) Ertel and Sandy (Chris) Maegli and his grandchildren Jordan, Jacob, Morgan, Brittany, Madison, and Benjamin.

Jack is also survived by his siblings: Kathy Hutchinson, Cindy Maahs, Cliff Kuchta, and Lynn Wolak. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Violet Kuchta, and siblings Ken Kuchta (died in infancy), Judy Staffin, Marvin Kuchta, and JoAnn Klimek.

Jack loved his family and his greatest delight was spending time with them whether it was catching fish in Canada, tapping maple trees up North, or attending baseball games. Jack made so many lasting memories with everyone in his life. When not spending time with his family, his next greatest love was his church. As the facilities manager, Jack took great pride in the upkeep of the church.

The family wishes to thank Aurora Home Hospice and especially Chaplain Tim Samorajski for his excellent care.

A visitation will be held at Woodridge Community Church, 13800 W. Howard Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151 on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1 to 2 pm. Celebration of Life Service 2 pm. Dinner at the church to follow at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Woodridge Community Church would be appreciated.
