Obituary for Helen Mary Reichert (Schnorenberg)

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the age of 90. Helen was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert J. Reichert for 66 years. Loving sister of Jim (Marilyn) Schnorenberg. Proud mother of Carol (Peter) Loehr, Diane Comstock, Ralph (Kathy) Reichert, Julie (Dean) Bellart and Brian (Kristin) Reichert.

Remarkable Grandma of Steve (Angela) Loehr, Maggie Loehr, Michael Loehr, Lauren Comstock, Brandon Comstock, Jack Comstock, Andrea (Jeremy) Fronza, Eric (Meghan) Reichert, Nick Bellart, Brad Bellart, Josh Reichert, Jared Reichert and Jacob Reichert.
Sassy GiGi of Maddie Loehr, Everett Loehr, and Ellie Fronza.

She will be dearly missed by her in-laws Alice Werner, Katie Mulvihill, Dennis (Mary) Reichert, and Dr. Mary Hovel; along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her children Mary and Joseph, parents Harold and Leota Schnorenberg, in-laws Clarence and Laura Reichert, daughter-in-law Paula Reichert, grandson Matthew Reichert, brothers-in law Roger Reichert, Lloyd Werner, and Michael Mulvihill.

Born in Hartford, Helen lived in Milwaukee since her marriage in 1956. In her free time, Helen enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and the piano. She was talented with her knitting, cross stitching, sewing and quilting. Most of all, Helen enjoyed spending time with her family in whom she took tremendous pride.

Visitation Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 9:00am to 10:50am, followed immediately by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7152 N. 41st Street, Milwaukee, WI 53209.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Helen’s name may be made to Our Lady of Good Hope Parish or Dominican High School.
