Hazel was a wonderful woman, good friend, and neighbor to my mother in West Allis. She always had a cheerful attitude and happy smile. We will miss her, but she is now enjoying Heaven in the arms of Jesus.

I was blessed to become friends with Hazel when I joined Brookfield Presbyterian church as a Christian Educator over 21 years ago. I loved her infectious smile and laugh. She was filled with a deep faith and positive outlook. It was such a treat when she’d invite the staff to her home across the street from the church for her annual holiday luncheon. Hazel would decorate her table with her special Christmas china, and serve us the tastiest of meals. Great conversation, laughter, and love filled the afternoon. In a card she sent earlier this year, she said she wished we could have one more of those Christmas get togethers. Instead this Christmas, I’m sure she’ll be hosting a lovely gathering with loved ones she’s now united with. I’ll remember Hazel with fondness always.

Will truly miss my beloved Aunt Hazel. Her smile and laughter will always be with me. So many happy memories of our family get togethers. Still make her traditional wassail every Christmas. I know she is now in peace and with those she so loved and missed.
