Obituary for Gabrielle A. Koceja (Kubinski)

Gabrielle A. (Kubinski) Koceja, 82 entered eternal life September 2, 2020.

Gabrielle (Gail) is preceded in death by her husband Robert, son Steven, daughter Rachel and parents John and Helen Kubinski. Survived by her daughters Kathy Radovich, Donna (Dean) Quinn and Mary (Brian) Dary Sr., sisters Barbara (Charles) Howe, Christine (Thomas) Lemanczyk, brother Daniel (Carol) Kubinski and god daughter Kari (David) Ancevic. Further survived by her grandsons Michael and David (Jessica) Radovich, Justin (Stephanie) and Tyler Quinn, great-grandchildren Aubrey and Reinen and many friends and family.

Gail met her husband while working at Blatz Brewery. Gail worked as a medical and legal secretary for many years. She and her husband Bob owned and operated Cream City Graphics until she retired. Gabrielle was an alumna of St. Mary's Academy. She was a member of the Drama Club and starred in their production of Brigadoon. Her passion for theater continued and she saw more than 90 Broadway plays. Gail loved travel, visiting 12 countries, including Austria, where she touched Mozart's piano. She had a passion for classical music, gardening, cardinals and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Gail had a strong affinity with the Native American culture. As a child Gail would sing "You Are My Sunshine" giving her the nickname "Sunshine". Gail also loved “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and got to meet two of the munchkins from "The Wizard of Oz" on Grandparent's Day one year.

An outdoor visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Hartson Funeral Home at 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI 53130 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., Private internment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
