My sincerest condolences to the Dominguez family for their loss. Another poster on this site mentioned that the world is a little quieter with his loss. Yes. Truly, it is.

He was such a profoundly gifted teacher, musician and charismatic entertainer. I remember how he would interject his sentences with jokes, music puns, and bits of song when he was teaching. His music recall was simply astounding. There seemed to be a song to accompany whatever idea he was trying to convey.

While he always stressed the importance of hard work, never settling for mediocrity when we held so much potential; he still made learning fun and enjoyable, because he was having fun, and enjoying himself, teaching.

I will forever admire his spirit— his love of music inspired me to pursue music professionally, and I am a better teacher and musician for having known him. For that, I will always be grateful.

Mr. Dominguez was a true perfectionist and raised the bar bringing out the best in all who were blessed enough to sing for and with him. My deep love of music was supported and inspired by him. It is a gift shared with my 3 children and his name is still mentioned. He lives on forever through his talent and the generous sharing of his gifts❤️😇🙏🏼

Frank has been a very special friend. His talents were many and always left us with wonderful memories. He sang for our fiftieth wedding anniversary and made our celebration complete. He and Nancy were always our very dear friends. He will be missed by so many. My sympathy and prayers to Nancy and the family. Lori Bittner

Wonderful picture of Frank. We send our deepest sympathies to Nancy and the family. What a wonderful man he was! We have so many happy memories of August Jazz parties in the back yard on Country club Beach Road, playing in the Port Washington band shell or Christmas singing in the WINE Group. We will miss him and will keep him in our prayers! Much love, Jean & David Opitz
