Fran grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she attended Catholic school. Fran was the only sister to her 1 older and 3 younger brothers. She graduated from Riverside High School in 1955.
After marrying Tom in 1959, Fran left the city and moved to rural Hartford, Wisconsin where she lived for 45 years. In 1961, her and Tom welcomed their only daughter Terry. During her time in Hartford, many of Fran’s weekends were spent driving back to Milwaukee to spend time with her beloved family. In 2000, she retired from the dairy industry where she worked in management for many years. 6 years later and 1 year after losing her husband Tom, she moved to Muskego, Wisconsin to be closer to her surviving family.
Fran fiercely loved her family and always had a special love for children. She spent much time with all of her nieces and nephews. After many years of waiting she finally became a grandmother in 1998 when she welcomed her first grandchild Kayla followed by Brandon in 2000. She loved all her family but she was especially devoted to her grandchildren. She spent countless hours enjoying and caring for them.
Fran will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and great love and devotion to her family.
Fran’s family would like to thank the devoted staff at Brolen Park in East Troy who became like a second family to Fran during the 5 years she spent there. The family is grateful for their kindness and dedication to keeping Fran happy, healthy, and comfortable.
