Obituary for Edel Hansen (Vangsgaard)
Edel Hansen ,(Nee Vangsgaard) Entered her heavenly home on 9/25/2022 at the age of 98.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hans C. Hansen of Muskego, Wisconsin. She last resided in
Muskego with previous residences in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, Sister Bay, Wisconsin and West Allis, Wisconsin.
Beloved stepmother of Ellen Sprawls, Laurel Evans (Robert) and Gayle Pawlak (Rich). Also survived by
caring step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and numerous Danish relatives in her native Denmark and elsewhere.
Burial will be beside her husband at the City Cemetery in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Greenfield, Wisconsin. Heartfelt thanks to the Brighton Hospice Team.
On August 14, 2021, a little more than a year ago, Edel wrote about her childhood and ended her story with the following paragraph, if not more appropriate today as it was then...
"I am now 97 years old and my time on this beautiful earth will soon come to an end. But, I know I have something more beautiful waiting for me. My life has for the most part been good and I have tried many interesting things and had many wonderful friends. I now wish you all a great life and I thank you for your love. Be happy!

Respecting Edel's wishes, there will not be a service. A private celebration of life will be held.
