Obituary for Dolores Louise Witte (Sadler)

(Nee Sadler) Age 91. Entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 13, 2021 at her home in Muskego, surrounded by the love of her beloved family and dear friends. She was born August 14, 1929 in Milwaukee to Frank Daniel and Irene Emma (nee Heiser) Sadler, and grew up in rural Milwaukee. She was the dear wife of Robert G. Witte, and mother of Robert F. and Rochelle. Bob and Dolores were married on May 5, 1951 at Faith Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

Throughout her life, Dolores was active in many church and other activities. She treasured her Lutheran faith, and its community. She loved participating in Bible class, and faithfully attended church weekly. She and Bob were active members of the Chicago/Milwaukee Chapter of the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club. She relished their travels over the country, displaying their cars and gathering with like-minded aficionados, including their son, Bobby. Dolores was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Foresters. She was a friend of Lois W., as well as Rozanne, and spent countless hours helping others learn from both of them. Dolores celebrated over 40 years of sobriety with her membership in OA, and helped many others progress in that program.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, her son Robert "Hudson Bob" Witte and her granddaughter, Violet. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Rochelle (Darren) Hackmann, daughter-in-law Debra Witte, brothers Richard and Frank (Barbara) Sadler, grandsons Robert Vaccarella and Matthew Hackmann, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 27 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, S66 W14325 West Janesville Road, Muskego with visitation from 8am - 10am, followed by services at 10am. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
