Obituary for Deborah A. Otzelberger (Czarnik)

Deborah Ann Otzelberger (nee Ralenkotter, Czarnik), 63, peacefully passed away on July 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on September 12, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was the beloved daughter of Darlene Czarnik and the late Herman Czarnik Sr. Debbie graduated from Oak High School. She shared love and adventures with her beloved husband, Jerome Otzelberger, who preceded her in death.

Debbie's legacy is carried forward by her cherished daughters: Jessica (Aaron) Mould (Celine, Flynne), Tracey (Damien) Sischo (Luella), and Kimberly Otzelberger. She was a beloved sister to Peggy Czarnik, Sherry Natynski, and Herman (Jeannie) Czarnik Jr., and a source of inspiration and joy to her aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, nephew, and countless friends.

Throughout her illness, Debbie's strength and determination were inspiring. Her legacy of treasuring the bonds of family, her deep affection for animals, and her spirited personality continue to thrive within her daughters and grandchildren. Her profound absence will be felt, but her impact will endure through the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A celebration of Debbie's extraordinary life will take place on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Hartson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a heartfelt family service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The burial ceremony will then be conducted at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm.

In this moment of profound gratitude, the family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Choi, the compassionate staff at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital - Franklin Campus, and the dedicated caretakers of Aurora Home Zilber Family Hospice. Their unwavering care and dedication provided solace and support during her journey.
