Obituary for Dale Allyn Murray
Dale Allyn Murray, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2022.
Dale was born in Milwaukee on March 10, 1948 to the late Norbert and Audrey (Engel) Murray. He graduated from Whitnall High School in 1966. Dale worked as an operating engineer at his family’s company, Diamond Engineering, and later as an elevator technician working at Schindler Elevator for over 25 years.
Dale met the love of his life, Arabella “Bella” Wilson, at her family’s meat market in 1966 and they were married at Holy Apostle’s Church in New Berlin, Wisconsin on February 15, 1969. Dale and Bella had an incredible love.
They enjoyed traveling around the country in their fifth wheel, and loved going to NASCAR races. They made friends everywhere they went, and considered their friends and neighbors family.
Dale enjoyed working on cars and spent hours in his garage where everything had its place. Dale loved cars especially Corvettes. He was always happy and willing to help friends and family with any mechanical or electrical problem.
Dale was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. He had Packers season tickets for many years and loved watching the Badgers, Brewers and Packers any time the games were on.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the St. Luke’s Cancer Care unit and palliative care team.
Dale was preceded in death by Bella on May 9, 2022. While we mourn Dale’s passing, we are comforted to know that he’s reunited with his beloved wife.
