Conrad Modlinski of Hales Corners passed away peacefully on December 25, 2020. He was born April 25, 1934 to the late Thomas and Agnes Modlinski. He is preceded by his loving wife Nancy (nee Rubner). He is survived by children David (Maureen) Modlinski, Tom (Carol) Modlinski, Mary Modlinski, Sue Kosiboski, and Julie (Matt) Burkart. Grandchildren Jeff Modlinski, Rory Modlinski, Molly Modlinski, Katie (Joe) Matel, Kyle (Rylee) Kosiboski, Zack Burkart and Eva Burkart. Great-grandchildren Addilyn Kosiboski and Hank Matel. Son-in-law Don Kosiboski, and many nieces and nephews.
Served in the U.S. army 1954-1956.
He was a talented commercial artist, a whiz with an airbrush doing original artwork and photo retouching.
A devoted grandpa of seven, he never missed a graduation, sporting event or performance, and adored his two new great-grandkids, Addi and Hank.
An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and golf. He and mom loved traveling, camping, and their canoe trips. To all the friends and neighbors who they shared these experiences with, we can’t thank you enough for getting him out of the house and keeping him active for the 31+ years after mom passed.
A man with a witty sense of humor, he had a library of bad dad jokes. Nobody was safe. Even our friends who have heard them a million times, started to tell their spouses and children, “please don’t encourage him.” But there was always a new audience somewhere. We’re sorry.
“I’ve kicked the bucket, it’s time to throw me in the hole.” His words, not ours.
