Christ A. Alexopoulos “PAPOU” April 12, 2023. Age 96.
Beloved husband of Nicoleta (nee Siettou) since April 18, 1955. Dear father of Vasiliki/Bessie, Alex (Paula) and Peter. Loving and proud grandfather of Joseph (Gina) and Daniel.
Christ immigrated from his beloved homeland of Greece as a young man to this wonderful country for a better life for his family. He worked tirelessly to then bring his blessed wife and dear daughter overseas a few years later, all becoming proud naturalized American citizens in the years to come after welcoming their sons as first-generation Greek-Americans.
A faithful member of the Saints Constantine & Helen Community for his entire life in the United States, Christ’s faith, courage, compassion, humor, zest for life, along with his devotion and love for his beloved wife and family above all else, were the stalwart values and guiding principles he kept dear to his heart through to the last days of his vibrant, well-lived life.
Visitation at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa, WI 53213, on Saturday, April 22nd from 9am-10am, Funeral Liturgy from 10am-11am, with procession to follow and arrive at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield WI 53005 for the Interment Ceremony at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers or memorial gifts, the Alexopoulos family respectfully requests any donations be directed to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, in-person, via mail, or online.
