Obituary for Cheryl Terese DeCleene

Cheryl Therese DeCleene, died unexpectedly at her home on August 24th, 2022 at the age of 42. She was born on September 11th, 1979, to Jerome and Kathleen DeCleene, as the youngest sibling of six children, in Waukesha, WI.

Cheryl loved her children and always put them first. They were her heart, and always on her mind. She would have done anything for them.

At a young age... she was bound and determined to be a major helping hand to complete a deck, for a pool with her dad at the age of 7 or 8. Her dad was very thankful.

She really enjoyed playing sports. She loved and excelled at fast pitch softball, which really became apparent when she was moved to varsity shortstop in her sophomore year of high school. You could also find her very willing to shoot hoops if anyone was up for a challenge against her.

Recently....
She overtook her fears learning new technologies, and working on tech equipment.

She was working at the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Oak Creek for over a year. She learned how to budget her expenses, and was ready to get out on her own.

She was very excited for the birth of her great niece to her god daughter Casse (Joe) Ghigleri. This would be the newest addition to our large and growing family.

She started to increase her faith and knowledge of our Lord through attending Mass.

She is survived by her two children; Ally Landry and Ty Landry, her father, Jerome DeCleene; her brother, Patrick (Cindy) DeCleene; her sisters, Sandra (Jeffrey) Gascoyne, Diane (Christopher) Neal, Angela Baumann and Heather DeCleene, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen DeCleene, and grandparents, Harold and Leona Dunn, Bernard DeCleene, and Roseann Jacobi.

Donations are being accepted to help with Cheryl’s children’s education or to offset funeral costs. please make checks payable to Jerome DeCleene, and note in the memo section if going to the children's education.
