Obituary for Catherine E. Ettlie (Kestell)

(Nee Kestell) Age 100. Passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022.

Loving wife of Joseph Ettlie who preceded her in death in 2000 and last of 7 brothers and sisters.

Loving mother of John (Gail Hunsberger), Greg (Carolyn), Donna (Dan), and Carol. Proud grandmother
to Brad, Jon, Gretchen, Adam, Jay, and Renee. Proud great-grandmother to Ellie, Tommy, Alyssa, Aiden, Chloe,
Poppy, Donavon, Rylan, Jackson, and William. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Special thank you to Linden Grove Memory Care Facility in New Berlin and Compassionate Care Hospice
for their care.

Catherine enjoyed baking, picking hickory nuts for Christmas toffee bars, canning, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, bowling, golf (she became an avid golfer in her 40's), and especially being with her family. She was a longtime member of St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church in Hales Corners.

Catherine "Kate" grew up in New Holstein, WI and moved to Milwaukee where she met Joe her husband. She
worked along side her husband in his business, Precision Machine Alignment (machine tool repairs) for many
years as secretary and bookkeeper. Kate traveled extensively in Wisconsin and around the U.S. She enjoyed
fishing in Canada and accompanying Joe in the hunting blind.

Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners on Friday
April 22, 2022 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to
St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church or Linden Grove in New Berlin.
