Obituary for Carla M. Rubusch (Hohnstein)
Was born on June 4th, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Karl and Viola (Herrick) Hohnstein. She went home to Heaven on October 11th, 2019. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.
In passing, Carla leaves behind her children, Gerald (Danielle) Hohnstein, Jason Hohnstein, and Nicole (Brandon) Brunson; grandchildren, Riley Hohnstein, Brandon and Nicholas Brunson; her siblings Sharon and Dennis; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by many wonderful and caring friends. Carla was also preceded in death by her loving husband of over 25 years, Gerald; and her sister Patricia (John) Lonzaga.
She worked as a line foreman for over 30 years for Koss Corporation, and loved spending time with her friends and family, She enjoyed playing Bingo and was obsessed with watching Asian, European and British shows. She enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren rotten. Her number one goal was to give her children and grandchildren the best things possible in life.
A visitation will take place on Saturday October 26th at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W Janesville Rd Hales Corners, 53130, from 11am to 1pm followed by a memorial service at 1pm.
