Obituary for Blanche Marion Ruehle (Smith)

Blanche Marion Ruehle, 90, a resident of Muskego, Wisconsin passed away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Blanche was born in Greenfield Wisconsin on April 17,th, 1931. She married her late husband, Lester “Butch” Ruehle on June 18th 1949 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Muskego). Together they lived in Tess Corners, raised five children and worked a small farm. Her farmhouse was a place where family and friends gathered every Sunday, enjoying Blanche’s hospitality and cooking.

In 1973, they purchased the Ruehle’s Wagon Wheel Super Club in Kempster, Wisconsin. They retired from the restaurant and moved back to Milwaukee where they managed a retirement home. Blanche was a strong and vibrant women who loved gathering with her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, crafting and baking. Her Christmas cookies were a treasured gift. Blanche loved to go to Las Vegas with friends and family every year.

Blanche is survived by her five children: Sue and Tom Wolf, Sherry and Terry Schnabl, Leslie and Art Krabbenhoft (late), Scott (Lester) and Mary (Baker) and Linda and Randy Robison. Further survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great children
