(nee Roach) Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on May 20, 2021 at the age of 92. Born April 17, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes Roach. She was the beloved wife of (the late) Jerome Dolezal, with whom she shared 63 years. Loving mother of Sheryl (Robert) and stepmother to Richard Dolezal (Naomi). Proud grandmother of Brandon and Ryan and great-grandmother to Brianna and Aiden. Preceded in death by her brothers Howard and James, sisters Grace and Marion, and granddaughter, Aimee. She is survived by other close family and friends. Bernice was a longtime member of Hales Corners Lutheran Church. She had a long work history and volunteered for over 20 years at West Allis Memorial Hospital, as helping others was her passion. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, putting the needs of others before herself. She was also an avid reader, often reading several books a week. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii and out west. She lived a fruitful life and leaves those who love her with rich and meaningful memories. A visitation will be held on Wednesday June 2nd at Hales Corners Lutheran Church 12300 W Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, from 9:30am to 11am, memorial service at 11am. Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zilber Family Hospice or the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
