Obituary for Amber Rochelle Nicolazzi

A loving mother, Amber Rochelle Nicolazzi, died unexpectedly on May 27, 2021 at the age of 40 years old.

Amber was survived by her parents Lois (Gary) Schmitz and Michael (Julie) Nicolazzi. She was a life long partner to Shawn Jopek (Shawnie). She was a role model to her four joyous daughters Vanessa Navarro, Marissa Jopek, Isabella Jopek, and Mia Jopek. She was the big sister to her siblings Jake (Jaclyn) Franecki, Ryan Nicolazzi, and Cara Nicolazzi. She was the cool Auntie Amber to her nieces and nephews Isaiah, Olivia, Emma, Cooper, and Cecilia. She was an extraordinary grandma to Xena Thomas (Cocoa bean) and another granddaughter on the way. She was also a devoted friend to Marcia. The love she had for her family was unconditional.

Amber was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 19, 1980. She moved to Louisiana for a short period of time from 1981-1986. She would then grow up in West Allis, Wisconsin. Amber was always ready for an adventure with her friends and family. She enjoyed listening to classic rock and riding on the back of a motorcycle. You would never catch her outside of the house without a green accessory and her sunglasses. Amber was always full of life.

“She’s proof that you can walk through hell and still be an angel” ~ R.H Sin.

Amber was always the life of the party and the queen of one liners. She was the type of person who could connect with anyone in the room. Although her spirit was courageous and bold she made everyone feel welcomed. Amber has a heart of gold and will never be forgotten.
