Obituary for Alice M. Tyryfter (Michalak)

Alice Mary Tyryfter was born on April 23, 1927 in Milwaukee, WI and went to her eternal joy on March 26, 2023.

She was hardworking, independent, determined, generous, forgiving, had a great sense of humor, and a heart and soul who both loved the Lord tremendously and who also remained faithful to Him amidst both joys and incredible sufferings.

She was baptized Catholic at the Basilica of Saint Josaphat in Milwaukee, WI and also received the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and Holy Matrimony there.

So much can be said about her career, accomplishments, and interests over the span of her 95 years but what brought her the most joy and that which she thought and cared the most about was her family. In them she poured out her love and affections.

She is survived by her three children, Joel (Billie), Deborah, and Andrew; her grandchildren, Carrie (Walter) Schmidt, Megan (Jon) Nytes, Jollyn, Taylor, and Adam; and her six great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Schmidt as well as Hope, Natalie, Catherine, and Lana Nytes.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, WI on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 10 am. A procession to St. Adalbert Cemetery will follow.
