Obituary for Alfrieda M. Kroeninger

Hales Corners - (Nee Schiller) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by family as she passed into God's Kingdom. She will forever be remembered for providing thoughtful guidance over a hot cup of coffee, and her unconditional support and encouragement of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alfrieda supported her family and hundreds of others in the Hales Corners area with her gentle kindness serving as a den mother, troop leader, umpire, and lunchroom attendant along with spending Friday nights at the St. Mary's Catholic Parish Fish Fry. She had a love for nature, especially birds and flowers. She could sit for hours at her patio table naming the different birds and soaking in the beauty of her flowers as if it were the first time she had seen them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Lovingly cherished by her nine children, Terry (Patrick) Marach, Scott Kroeninger, Joe (Julie Harding) Kroeninger, Doris (Gordy) Hendricksen, George (Kelly) Kroeninger, Patricia (Mark) Graziano, Linda (Paul) Markiewicz, Bobby Kroeninger and Chris (Kristin) Kroeninger. She will be loved, remembered and missed by her 19 grandchildren, Matthew, Adam, Krista, Jaclyn, Tessa, Jessi, Billy, Ryan, Katie, Daniel, Brian, Steven, Scott, Joshua, Alex, Andrew, Kaylyn, Allison, and Caroline and 12 great-grandchildren, Chase, Harper, Emmitt, Erin, Anna, Nylla, Lola, Jaelah, Joanna, Haddie, Frank and Peter. She is further survived by her brothers, Oscar (Karwyn) Schiller and Carl Schiller, other family and dear friends.

Alfrieda was also preceded in death by her siblings Helen Schiller and Alfred Schiller.

Private services to be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family by visiting the Hartson Funeral Home website.
